A seeker starts with many questions. The questions that bother him initially tend to dissolve by itself not because there are definite answers but because the limited mind is simply not equipped to comprehend them. In fact, pursuing such questions does not necessarily assist in the quest for truth, which is more of a living, direct experience rather than a mere intellectual understanding. These are few common questions:
- What is Maya?
- How & when did this creation start?
- How did the One become many?
- What is Karma?
- Is there a life after death?
- Why does evil exist?
After these initial doubts fade, one is left with a single, most relevant question:
Does one know how to live this present moment? At times, the answer is “yes”, and in those moments, there is a sense of inner peace. At other times, the answer is “no”, and as a result, one experiences the consequences of not being present.
